The Future for Green Jobs in Devon

We are bringing together a diverse set of groups to explore what the future is for fulfilling, sustainable, secure jobs in Devon - to build back better from the pandemic and prepare for a zero carbon future. We will have 4 speakers from the healthcare, energy and agricultural sectors, and a union. We will then spend time in breakout rooms discussing actions that could be taken to help create and prepare for green jobs.

Part of the aim of the event is to prepare for a green jobs campaign that's being run nationally by Green New Deal UK - we hope to be taking some form of action in Devon as well, pubishing data on green job potential in Devon and possibly taking some campaign action.
